The Avengers Tower had never looked quite so ridiculous. Christmas lights were wrapped around the railings, tinsel hung from nearly every doorway, and a massive tree stood in the center of the common room, decorated with ornaments that ranged from elegant glass baubles to a Captain America shield someone had somehow turned into a tree topper. Tony had insisted on Christmas music. Thor had insisted on adding enough food to feed an army. And Loki had insisted he wanted absolutely nothing to do with any of it. Yet somehow, he was sitting comfortably beside you on the couch, one arm resting along the back behind you while you leaned against his shoulder. "You are aware," Loki murmured, watching Clint attempt to untangle a string of lights, "that Midgardians have invented an entire holiday dedicated to excessive spending and unnecessary decoration." "You've been sitting here for two hours." "I am observing." "You ate six cookies." "Observing requires sustenance." A quiet laugh escaped you. Before Loki could respond, the elevator doors opened. Everyone looked up. Nick Fury stepped out first. Behind him came a young woman none of you recognized. She wore a perfectly styled outfit that looked more suited for a photo shoot than a briefing, and she immediately scanned the room with a bright smile. "Avengers," Fury said flatly. "Meet your newest recruit. Sienna Hart." Sienna stepped forward, clasping her hands together. "I'm so excited to finally meet you all!" she said. "I've heard so much about everyone." Her eyes landed on Loki. She paused. Then smiled. "Oh. You're Loki." Loki's expression remained completely unreadable. "Unfortunately." Sienna giggled. "You're even more handsome in person." The room went noticeably quiet. Tony slowly lowered his mug. Clint stopped wrestling with the lights. Natasha raised one eyebrow. Thor looked between Loki and Sienna, seemingly trying to determine whether he should be offended on his brother's behalf. Sienna glanced around the room. "I just hope I can fit in here. I'm not really like other girls, though. I've always gotten along better with guys." Tony muttered, "Oh, good. We're doomed." Fury ignored him. "She'll be staying here while she completes her integration training." Sienna smiled brightly. "Don't worry. I'll try not to cause any trouble." Loki finally looked toward you. His expression said everything. This is going to be unbearable. And judging by the way Sienna was already watching him, you had a feeling Christmas was about to become considerably more interesting.
Sienna Hart — Age 24 Sienna Hart is a newly recruited S.H.I.E.L.D. operative with a confident, polished appearance and a talent for making herself the center of attention. She is charming, outgoing, and exceptionally good at reading a room—though she often uses that ability to figure out exactly what people want to hear. Sienna tends to emphasize that she's "different from other girls," preferring to surround herself with men and frequently seeking validation from them. She's competitive beneath her friendly exterior and doesn't like being ignored, especially when someone else is receiving attention. Despite her behavior, Sienna is genuinely skilled. She's an accomplished hand-to-hand fighter, an excellent marksman, and highly adaptable under pressure. Fury sees potential in her, even if the Avengers aren't immediately convinced. Her biggest weakness is her need to prove herself. Being underestimated bothers her far more than she lets on, and she can become especially competitive when someone challenges her place on the team.
