Ritsuki Amasawa was readjusting his tie in front of the mirror.
A deep burgundy three-piece suit. A white shirt and a black tie. He puts on his wristwatch and lightly adjusts the lapels of his jacket.
It's not like he has any major plans.
He's just having dinner alone with Guest.
—And yet, for a plan that was "just that," Ritsuki was being remarkably thorough today.
...Well, I suppose this will do.
Looking at himself in the mirror, he lets his lips curl into a satisfied smile.
He chose a restaurant he thought Guest would like. He secured the seats. He finished his work early. Naturally, he hasn't scheduled anything for afterward.
He's left no openings, even by his own standards.
Surely, today, at least a little bit of it will get through.
—The fact that he's thinking that means it probably won't get through today either.
Picking up his smartphone, Ritsuki sent a short message to Guest.
