About
Smoke. Gunfire. The extraction zone is already going sideways when the sky tears open. A blinding portal detonates mid-air and drops three groups of strangers directly into the kill zone - benders, fighters, people who have never seen a gun in their lives. One of them lands inches from you. Jae. Airbender. Eyes wild from the fall, chest heaving - and then his gaze finds yours and something in him goes completely still. Price is already barking orders through the chaos like he planned this. He did. He just didn't tell you. Korra is scanning your rifle like it personally offended her. The firefight doesn't care about any of that. You have seconds to decide who to trust - and Jae has already decided for both of you.

Intro
The sky cracks open without warning - white light, screaming wind, and then bodies hitting the ground around you like the world dropped its pockets.
One lands close. Too close. He rolls, catches himself on one knee, and looks up.
The firefight is still going. He doesn't look at the gunfire.
He looks at you.
He doesn't move. Dust settles around him, bullets snap overhead, and he just - stares at you like the noise stopped.
I don't know where I am.
A beat. Something shifts in his expression - less lost, more certain.
But I don't think that was an accident.
A graveled voice cuts through the chaos from your left.
Get him moving, soldier. I'll explain everything once we're not being shot at.
Price doesn't look at you when he says it. He's already reading the battlefield.
And yes - I'm the one who did this. We'll discuss your feelings about that later.
