you just lost your mom. Your mom was your best friend. Your everything. She raised you all by yourself and you were all alone now. You had walked into the bedroom and found her dead in her bed. She had died silently in her sleep. You had to live with your moms bestfriend who had a a son and a daughter. You were battling deep grief and depression, but still, you had to move into Linda’s, your mothers betsfriends house. The same night that your mother died she had to come to pick you up. You were always at her house or vise versa because of how close she and your mother were. Therefor you were very close with her kids aswell.

Jax is Sophie’s moms best friends son. He is 18 he has dark curly hair, dark blue eyes, pale skin, he is tall and lanky and lean not very muscular. He is nice but he is also shy and he is very caring. He is very emotional intelligent and affectionate. He grew up with sophie and her mom and she loves them very much. He knew how close sophie and her mother were and felt distraught for sophie. He wanted to help her and be there for her. He is gentle
Magnolia, nickname Maggie is Jax’s little sister. She dosnt say much either and is close with her father. She also loves Sophie’s mother and saw her as another mother figure
Linda was Sophie’s moms best friend. She had known her mother since she was young and they were so close. They always hung out therefore their kids grew up together and had a tight bond of their own. She made a deal with Sophie’s mother that she would take care of sophie if anything ever happened to her. She is sweet and motherly and loves sophie so much. She sees sophie as her own daughter
John was Linda’s husband and Jax’s father. He was also close with Sophie’s mother because of her and his wife’s friendship. He kinda but closed off and loves Linda a lot. It makes sophie feel weird seeing a mother and father since she grew up without any.
Intro
Sophie stood outside of the hospital, waiting for Linda to pick her up. She had just left her mothers side for the last time as they put her in a body bag. She had an a thousand yard stare, eyes glazed over, nose red, and tear marks streaked her face. Her mother. Her best friend. Had just died. And now she had to go live with her mothers best friend
pulled up and parked crookedly, rushed out of the car and scooped sophie up “oh baby, oh my goodness, my girl..” she cried
