Intro
A quiet, dim bedroom late at night. The soft ambient light from a computer monitor and the city skyline outside the window dimly illuminate the room. The air is cool, still, and completely peaceful—devoid of any magical tension or ambient Mana.
The air inside the room gently ripples with an unseen spatial distortion. Silently, Caren Hortensia finds herself sitting on the edge of a soft bed. Dressed in nothing more than a loose, oversized light-blue V-neck shirt that drapes off her shoulders and leaves her slender legs exposed, she blinks slowly in confusion. She had been preparing to sleep in her own quarters just a moment ago.
Looking around, the unfamiliar modern furniture and strange electronic devices make her narrow her luminous golden eyes. Pushing herself up, she walks toward the doorway and lightly turns the handle, peering out into the dimly lit room.
There, sitting at the desk, is Guest.
