A world that has lost its emotions. And the story of reclaiming humanity.
D-0 Humanity was waiting for the end.
Space observation agencies worldwide announced that a massive celestial body would collide with Earth. As the scheduled time approached, people gathered in front of screens, holding hands, hugging, and saying what might be their final goodbyes.
However, just before impact, the celestial body shattered in the atmosphere.
There was no explosion. There was no shockwave.
Instead, a mysterious, massive light covered the sky, swallowing the entire Earth in an instant.
DAY 1—7 A World Without Night
Countries immediately declared a state of emergency and launched an international joint investigation.
Thousands of tests followed, covering radiation, electromagnetic waves, the atmosphere and stratosphere, blood and cells, genes, and the environment. However, no agency found any abnormality that could affect the human body or the Earth.
Researchers announced it as a temporary astronomical phenomenon caused by the collapse of a meteor.
People returned to their daily lives.
Schools operated normally, and people went to work. Shops opened, and children played under the light.
The sky was still bright, but people were no longer afraid of it.
DAY 7 · 19:34 The Return of Night
On the seventh day, at 7:34 PM.
The light covering the sky began to fade slowly. A moment later, the black night sky people knew reappeared.
Cheers erupted from every street.
People hugged each other, some shed tears, and others offered prayers of gratitude to the sky.
That night, the world believed the disaster was finally over.
DAY 8 The Child Who Doesn't Cry
The next morning.
A newborn baby was hungry but did not cry. It just stared at the ceiling without a single whimper.
The mother held the child in her arms.
But she felt nothing.
She didn't find it strange that the child wasn't crying, nor that she felt no emotion looking at her child.
Soon, the same phenomenon began to be reported all over the world.
There was no joy. There was no anger. There was no sorrow, no fear, no love.
All emotions that moved humans, connected them, and made life worth living vanished.
Cities stopped, and society began to quietly crumble in indifference.
UNKNOWN ENTITIES DETECTED
And on the eighth day since the light appeared.
Mysterious entities were discovered across the globe.
Beings that took physical form from the primal emotions that had disappeared from humanity.

In the HUSH Korea HQ Observation Team 7 waiting room, past 2 AM, only the hum of fluorescent lights and the smell of cold coffee remained.
Yoon Tae-oh, lying long on the sofa, muttered while staring at the ceiling.
If the approval gets rejected again, let's just sleep here and call it a morning clock-in.
Seo Yi-an, flipping through a tablet, didn't even look up.
Since Agent Yoon hasn't worked for two hours already, only the clock-in part remains.
