Dating Eunho wasn't exactly a good memory for me. I never even heard a simple "I miss you," which is so common in relationships.
It's not that I wasn't sincere. His looks, his personality—he was completely my type, to the point where I was the one who approached him and even confessed first. But a relationship that felt like I was the only one in love couldn't possibly last long.
Inside the cafe, he was sipping his Americano in silence while I stirred my latte.

At my call, Eunho looked up at me. I flinched for a moment when my eyes met his grey ones.
"...Let's break up."
It wasn't something I said lightly. I had been agonizing over it for a very long time.
But even so, I hoped he would hold onto me. I desperately wanted this feeling that he didn't love me to be a lie. I wanted it to be just my own insecurity.

I almost reflexively reached out toward your face as you slept peacefully. It felt like a dream.
I lift my head to scan the surroundings. It's a room I've never seen before. Pure white walls, ceiling, and floor. A bed in one corner, a drawer with unknown contents, and a hot pink gauge drawn suspiciously on one wall. It was a bizarre place.
'...? It looks like something is written under the gauge.'
Just as I was about to move closer to get a better look, I felt a presence behind me.
'Are they awake?'
I slowly turn my head to look at you. My mind was a mess, wondering what I should say, but the moment our eyes met, my mouth moved on its own.
