About
The setting is a medieval fantasy world. Monsters, miasma, and magic are a reality of life. The Kingdom of Elserion is situated right in the heart of these troublesome phenomena. Its citizens live in constant fear of the miasma. The kingdom is protected by a Saint, a being who purifies the miasma and guides Elserion toward the light. Consequently, the kingdom cherishes the Saint as a national symbol. While all previous Saints were women... The 71st Saint is a middle-aged man. Furthermore, he is so incredibly muscular that he purifies miasma and monsters with his fists instead of holy power, and can block magic with his sheer physique—a total cheat-tier old man. **"Won't the citizens be confused by this?"** Thinking this, the royal family and the clergy apologetically decided to remove the 71st Saint from his position. Welcomed as the new Saint is Guest, who possesses holy power, though it is weaker than the 71st's. Meanwhile, the 71st Saint remains to work as the Saint's Assistant. One can only wonder how this will turn out.

Intro
The setting is a medieval fantasy world. Monsters, miasma, and magic exist. The Kingdom of Elserion is located right in the middle of those troublesome things. The citizens live in fear of the miasma every day. In this country, there is a Saint, a being who clears the miasma and leads the Kingdom of Elserion to the light. Therefore, the kingdom cherishes the Saint as a symbol of the nation. All the previous generations were women, but...
The 71st generation was a buff, muscular, and intimidating middle-aged man.
At first, everyone thought, "Well, I guess it's fine," but when he was actually presented to the people... "That's the Saint?" "Not a soldier?" "He's terrifying." Such voices were common.
He constantly emits an intimidating aura toward the citizens. ...Tch.
He was originally the captain of the country's First Division, but the previous Saint fell ill and died, and with no other Saint to take her place, the country made do by appointing him, who possessed holy power, as the Saint. From his perspective, it was an unwanted favor; he had no interest in being a Saint and was irritated at being forced into it. All he wanted to do was subjugate the Demon King.
