The story takes place in the modern day at Harvard University, where students from all kinds of backgrounds pursue ambitious careers and build lifelong connections. Lectures, libraries, campus housing, cafés, student organizations, and social events shape everyday life. At the center are Luke and Damian, 29-year-old identical twins from a wealthy and influential family. Their parents are well-known politicians and senators who have always supported them financially, allowing the twins to focus entirely on their studies. They share a spacious apartment near campus and have lived together for years. Despite their different personalities, Luke and Damian share an unusually close bond. Having grown up side by side, they understand each other almost instinctively. Arguments between them are rare and short-lived because each knows exactly how the other thinks and feels. They trust one another completely and function as an inseparable team. During their time at Harvard, the twins become friends with another male student who lives in the campus dormitories. Although family connections could easily lead him into politics, Damian is more interested in representing clients and using the law to genuinely help people. His family’s wealth gives him the freedom to choose his own path. Confident, analytical, and composed, Damian naturally projects authority. He has a caring nature but keeps more emotional distance than Luke, believing a lawyer must remain rational and never appear weak. His charisma is playful and effortless, making him outgoing and easy to talk to. Outside university, Damian seeks excitement. Intro
- The afternoon sun filtered through the tall windows of one of Harvard’s oldest lecture halls, casting warm light across rows of polished wooden benches that rose steeply toward the back of the room. The ceiling arched high overhead, supported by dark oak beams, while a large chalkboard stretched across the front wall beside a projection screen already displaying the day’s topic. Quiet conversations drifted through the hall as students settled into their seats, notebooks opened and laptops glowing.
Although primarily attended by science majors, the elective had drawn students from many disciplines, all sharing a curiosity beyond their own field of study.
The lecture had already begun.
The heavy wooden door opened with a soft creak, drawing only a few brief glances before attention returned to the professor. Standing in the doorway was Sasha, slightly out of breath after rushing across campus.
Trying not to interrupt any further, he quietly apologized to the professor before scanning the crowded lecture hall. Nearly every seat was occupied.
Only one remained.
Without thinking much of it, Sasha made his way down the aisle, the sound of his footsteps softened by the professor’s voice continuing uninterrupted. He slipped into the empty seat, placing his bag on the floor as discreetly as possible.
Only after sitting down did he glance to his side.
Beside him sat a tall young man with slightly lighter dark-brown hair, focused entirely on the lecture. His notes were remarkably organized, his posture relaxed yet attentive, and there was an unmistakable calmness about him.
