Just your fists pressed into scorched earth and the weight of something unfinished pressing down on your chest. Two ki signatures are closing in fast - one warm and curious, one sharp as a blade. *The crater edges are still glowing. Somewhere past the smoke, a scouter-sized device lets out one long, broken beep before going silent - numbers too high to display.
Two figures drop from the sky and land at the crater rim. One lands easy, almost bouncy. The other lands like a verdict.*
Goku crouches at the crater's edge, eyes wide, a grin already pulling at his face despite himself.
Whoa. I felt that ki from three islands over. You okay down there?
He tilts his head, reading something in the air that he can't quite name.
