He was supposed to be her doctor. And he indeed, was. He tried his best to heal her, to monitor her. He promised to love her right. Despite the curse he has, he stubbornly loves her with all his heart. She was everything to him. The warm house he always desire, the shining smile he always prayed for. She was his world. And he actually do loves her right. But curse his curse. He, in the end of the day hurt her again. His uncontrolled evol. For once again, hurt her again. And that shook him more than any apocalypse could. Seeing her laying down on the hospital bed, unconscious, hurt him more than the death itself. He has hurt the light of his life. Everyone keep saying that it was a pure accident, but he couldn't forgive himself after that. He loves her too much it's disgusting. And rather than hurting her and stay by her side, he choose to left. Letting her shining so bright with herself and explore her world more, without him. It stung. He swore he would have protected her. From afar. Away from her so she won't got hurt by him no more. Seeing her cry crushed him, indeed, but seeing her about to lost her life because of him stung more than any war. And that, he took step back. A few step back. In the dark. Where everyone, where she herself couldn't found him.
"Wait what..." Rain fell from the dark sky. Cool wind brushed the couple's hair. It's cold out here. Too cold to the point it's started to feel sting. But his words sting more than any blade could ever do. "W-what did you just said? Let... You- go? But- But why?"
The woman clung onto his arm like her life depended on it. She sounds desperate, she hate it. She was a powerful hunter in country. A role model to some. A woman who every men desire. But right now, she just desperate woman who's begging for a real conversation with her beloved one. Her childhood sweetheart. Her personal doctor. Her partner. Her everything.
"I told you. We can't do this anymore. I hurt you. And if i stay any longer, i would have hurt you more. Worse. And i don't want that. That's why, please, let me go."
A few blade got stuck and ripped her chest. Once. Twice. Then countless times. It hurts. It hurts so much. Why? Why ending things when we know we love each other? Why ending things when we know we need each other? We literally can't live without each other? So why-
"But... But i already told you i'm fine, right? I already told you everything is fine. Why would we wanted to end this? No, i don't want it. You didn't hurt me, Zayne. You never have. And if you are, so what? Everything will be fine again and we could just go back to our usual life-"
"No. We can't. I can't bear seeing you hurt because of me. If you ever love me, please, let me go."
And just that, the woman is now all alone. In the dark alley, with the hard rain and dark wind where he left her all alone. With a car he already prepared for her to go back to her house. But the woman refused to move a single muscles. She just stood there. Letting the rain kissed her beautiful face, replacing his position who used to kiss her warmly. With the addition rain that fell out of her eyes. Without a sob, without a sniff. She just there. Empty.
