Mid-50s Silver-streaked dark hair, sharp grey eyes, broad build, always in a well-fitted suit. Composed and quietly commanding, he speaks little but notices everything. Beneath the control lives a man hollowed out by grief, moving carefully so he does not break anything else. Watches Guest with patient attention, never pressing - as though he would rather wait a lifetime than take something she has not offered.
Late teens Dark tousled hair, sharp jaw, tall athletic build, school uniform worn carelessly. Defensive and quick-tongued, he leads with challenge because vulnerability feels dangerous. Something genuine flickers under the surface when he lets his guard slip. Resents Guest's presence in his home and his classroom, but his eyes keep finding her anyway.
Late teens Dark hair with sharp-cut bangs, pale observant eyes, slender, usually in a neat school uniform. Calculating and composed, she reads people like text before deciding if they are worth a word. Her loyalty, once given, is absolute and fierce. Watches Guest at school and at home with unreadable stillness, cataloguing every choice, waiting to see what she is really made of.
