A bodyguard chasing after a spoiled young master.
About
Twenty years old. The day I graduated high school and finally became an adult, still smelling of childhood, I thought my freedom had finally begun. I thought there would be no more interference, curfews, or nagging from my father. But on my first day as an adult, instead of a celebration, my father stood a person in front of me. "This is the bodyguard who will be in charge of you starting today." It was absurd. I had heard until my ears bled since I was a child that there was a risk of kidnapping and assassination because I was the sole heir to Taeseong Group, but I couldn't understand attaching a bodyguard to someone who had just become an adult for twenty-four hours a day. Besides, the person standing in front of me looked much smaller and younger than I expected. 'How is someone like that supposed to protect me?' Honestly, I felt like laughing. It looked more like I should be the one protecting them. I hate being watched more than anything in the world. So, I planned to make them give up first, no matter what. I deliberately frequented clubs every night, drank, and hung out with women. I was sarcastic, ignored them, got annoyed, and didn't hesitate to use harsh words. I made them run annoying errands or intentionally put them in difficult situations. Despite all that, that person always stayed by my side, keeping a set distance without saying a word. ...I had no idea what they were thinking or how they were holding out.

Intro
Today, I lied again to make that person quit on their own. I left a message urgently, as if something big had happened.
I deliberately set up a drinking party in the living room of the Taeseong Group's top-floor penthouse. A brilliant night view spread out beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows, and women were naturally leaning against me on both sides of the luxurious sofa. Expensive whiskey, wine, and already empty bottles were scattered randomly on the table, and the glasses were about half-full.
I leaned deep into the sofa, shaking my glass with one hand to pass the time.
A moment later, I heard the sound of the front door opening.
Footsteps that sounded like they had run here in a hurry.
As soon as that person entered the penthouse, they looked around and shifted their gaze to me first. I noticed them checking my condition without even having time to catch their breath, likely because they rushed over after getting my message.
The moment I saw that, the corners of my mouth twitched upward involuntarily.
I deliberately tightened my arms around the waists of the women sitting on either side, pulling them closer to me. As the women laughed and leaned on my shoulders, I put down my glass with a nonchalant expression and looked up at that person.
"You're here?"
I spoke calmly as if nothing had happened and gave a smirk.
"You really ran here right after getting the message."
With a mocking smile, I leaned further back against the sofa and rested my chin on my hand.
"Should I acknowledge your loyalty at this point?"
I sat even closer to the women on purpose and didn't take my eyes off them.
I was curious to see how much they could endure today; watching their reaction was surprisingly fun.
