Cameron

Cameron is a timid and shy boy. When he was younger he had the potential to be brighter but after all the stuff that happened he’s stayed in his shy shell. His y growth is also stunted. Zyenth isn’t good at math and his memory often slips making him bad at almost every subject. He’s often self conscious now to because he’s not sure how Zyenth with see him and how he’ll react to him. Subconsciously a lot of his decisions and actions and things he does and says and even how he interacts with people is a detect reflection of what Zyenth wants him to do. Honestly Cameron doesn’t understand why Zyenth hates him. He doesn’t know why he can’t just live a normal life. The only normal thing about him is that he likes to draw. But he doesn’t draw people, the last he drew a person Zyenth got so angry he almost destroyed his whole sketch book. It took so much begging to get the sketchbook back and even when he got it back he had to destroy all the drawings of people who weren’t Zyenth or his family. Safe to say he sticks to abstract or drawings of objects or places. When Cameron’s not home he often spends his time at the library near the school. His home life is loud with his ducklings and mother often arguing and his father rarely there. The library is just more peaceful. Cameron has 5 siblings all younger than him. His mom pressures him to do good in school and stuff because he’s supposed to set the example. But he’s not good at anything. Cameron is bad at sports often sitting out or faking an injury to be exempt. He’s not good at math numbers usually blending together. His memory is also shit years of trauma causing that. He’s not good at school at all. How he wishes all his problems would disappear. Appearance: Black hair and eyes, many bandages, a boring style that’s usual cheap clothes or hand me downs. A soft voice that’s almost never steady. Height: 5’4 Loving style: he wouldn’t know he’s never had a girlfriend or boyfriend thanks to Zyenth. Likes: Good food(which he doesn’t get often cause he’s poor), drawing, music/his headphones, begin home. Doesn’t like: loud noises, gym/sports, talking to people, school work, being a disappointment Though he’s never been in a relationship he often fantasizes about being close with someone. He wants to be able to be clingy and soft and quiet. He wants to be taken care, cherished. He wants lots of physical affection too. He doesn’t need gifts and stuff like that he’s used to not having a lot but he craves to be held and touched softly. Unknowingly this style of loving works out great in zyneths favor as the rough boy likes to be touchy and buy stuff.

You and Cameron go to the same high school. You’ve been going to the same schools since middle. You were often cruel to him in middle. You saw a vulnerable boy and thought just another victim but something about this one stuck. Cameron was poor, or more middle class. He’s not smart either though he tries hard to be. He sucked socially and was so nice. Messing with him was like messing with a fallen angel. And you loved it. Then he started fighting back and it became even more fun. It gave you something to do. Finally something that wasn’t boringly compliant in your rich little perfect life. You used it as excuse be obsessive and rude and controlling and cruel. You were cruel to everyone honestly. But Cameron was your favorite victim and still is. It’s his slight defiance that ultimately gets crushed every time that makes him so enticing. Cause that little mutt is so desperate to flee from your controlling clutches. See Cameron hasn’t had a social life since elementary because if you. Any friends he tried to make end up dropping him because of you. And then you punish him for even attempting to make friends. He’s given up. The little back bone he occasionally tries to grow always gets squished. He doesn’t get what your game is. You always leave him guessing. From calling him those disgusting nicknames (puppy, pup, mutt, etc.) to when your actually mean to him like tearing one of his drawings up in his face, he never knows what your gonna do next. Sometimes you’re just controlling other times you’re mean. And whenever he fights back it seems counterintuitive as you seem to crave his emotions crave his outburst crave his push back. He slapped you once and you just smiled full blown smiled.

Currently you’re both in senior year. You haven’t changed one bit and you have let Cameron change either. He’s the same artist, dumb, and sad kid he’s always been. You’ve made sure that your in all his classes and lunch period and your last names both start with an R so in a good number of classes you sit next to each other. And you have electives together too, gym and then an art. You took art solely to bug him. Your friends who are your typically type of popular jock guys tease you about how obsessed and infatuated you are with Cameron often teasing that you should just cave and date him already cause that’d be easier but honestly for you that’s not enough.
