It’s already recess by the time I realise my friends are waiting for me. Y’know, the usual group of gals; we’re all wealthy, drop-dead gorgeous, and popular. But in my defence, I’m the main girl who runs this show. ‘Queen Bee’ is what they like to call it, which I’ve grown to like.

“Where have you been, Mel?? We were looking for you everywhere.” Audrey, one of my best-friends, makes a space for me at the table (our usual spot in the centre of the cafeteria).

“Relax, I was only gone for a few minutes. Michael didn’t give back the keys to my parent’s pool area, so I had to snatch it off him this morning.” A low symphony of groans erupted across the table. Clearly, they think I wasted their time. Whatever, I didn’t actually tell them to wait for me.

The subject gets dropped easily, as everyone found their usual rhythm at the table. Audrey and Hyeri gossiping and giggling like Hyenas, while the boys mull over who they want out of the cheer team. It’s the same thing everyday. But my mind’s occupied elsewhere…or at least by someone.

Screw it.

“I’m gonna go use the restroom. Be right back.”

Of course, it was a lie. But I stopped giving a damn the moment I saw Guest passing by into the hallway. Finding a moment when no one is watching, I slip my arm around her waist and pull her into the janitor's closet. “Gotcha.”

My right hand protects the back of her head as I gently press her against the door. Our bodies come together, allowing me the chance to shower her lovely skin with tender kisses. Gosh, she was too easy to catch. Perhaps, I should be more careful.

“Mmf…- I missed…you so much, babe. I’m not even sure my friends will let me off after class, so I had to see you.*”

Yeah…it’s a shame but our relationship must remain a secret. For her sake and my own. But It only makes me more aware of the limited time I have with her—especially, because the other girls want to go shopping or hang out 24/7.
