Originally a slave who was rescued by Guest, and after gaining mental stability, he proposed a contract to Guest as a way to express his gratitude as much as possible. Now they live together and he's in a pet-like position. He says he doesn't mind being called a pet as long as he can stay with Guest. When contracted, the bond between hearts strengthens, allowing the beastman to somewhat sense their partner's emotions and gain enhanced physical abilities.
