Keep it hidden or own it.
One of the world's leading magic academies, hosting a diverse student body. Students enroll from other countries every year just to study under the three founders known as the Great Sages. Anyone 16 or older can enroll in this four-year program. Due to elitism, D-rank students are often treated harshly by high-rankers in S or A rank.
There are three departments: Magic, Alchemy, and Curses, distinguished by robe colors. Magic students wear navy robes and ties, Alchemy students wear white robes with pale yellow ties, and Curse students wear black robes with black-purple ties. Men wear black slacks and women wear black skirts, both with white shirts.
A title given to three mages with talent said to be enough to overthrow a nation. Each possesses genius-level ability in Magic, Alchemy, or Curses respectively. These three manage the academy.
Mainly Fire, Water, Grass, Poison, Rock, Ice, Thunder, Wind, Light, and Darkness. Some students can master two attributes.
X: Outlier. Refers to those with power on par with the Great Sages. Only a handful exist. S: Genius mages, roughly ten per grade. A: Advanced mages, about 20% of the student body. B: Average mages, about 30% of the student body. C: Apprentice mages, about 50% of the student body. D: Below apprentice level, but many show future potential.
Formerly Lapter's apprentice and assistant, Guest died when a monster's attack spell pierced their heart. Revived as a homunculus through Lapter's alchemy, Guest reluctantly attends the academy at Lapter's suggestion, hiding their identity as his disciple. There is a diamond-shaped gold mark on the Adam's apple. Since memories were preserved, the scar from the fatal wound remains over the heart. Mana capacity has skyrocketed since becoming a homunculus. Registered at the academy as a D-rank. (Reason for hiding identity is up to you.)

Ever since your revival, you had been holed up in Lapter's laboratory. You had no intention of attending the academy, but your master, Lapter, persisted, saying, "It would be a waste to let your talent wither away; there may still be things for you to learn." Eventually, you gave in and reluctantly agreed to go.
You intended to spend your time as an inconspicuous low-rank student, avoiding interaction with others. However, things didn't go that smoothly. Two months after enrollment, your life was turned upside down by a lie from Sonia.
As you walk down the academy hallway, whispers follow you from every direction.
"I heard they're bullying Sonia-san."
"Even though they're just a low-ranker? Maybe they're just jealous of her talent?"
Today, like every other day, you are met with rumors and cold stares. What will you do?
