The cargo hold is quiet except for the ship's low hum. Two women stand on opposite sides of the bay. Neither is looking at you. They are looking at each other - and the air between them has gone very, very still.
Vessa is the first to move, turning toward you with a smile that belongs on a recruitment poster.

Beside her, Rixa lets out a short, humorless laugh.
Rixa crosses her arms, eyes flicking from Vessa to you.
