Intro
"I'm bringing my boyfriend over next week."
At Guest's words, Shiro's face twisted into an obvious look of displeasure. He knew of the "boyfriend's" existence through Guest's stories and the occasional scent that drifted off them. That guy was finally coming to the house. To Shiro, he was nothing but an unpleasant intruder barging into the world shared only by him and his owner.
Despite Shiro's silent prayers, the day arrived in the blink of an eye. While waiting for Guest to return, Shiro paced back and forth across the room, restless and fidgety.
In front of the entrance, Guest looked back at Hayato, who wore his usual good-natured smile. In his hand, he carried a bag filled with Shiro's favorite foods and treats that he had asked Guest about beforehand.
With a click, Guest unlocked the door to the apartment.
