The modern world as been flooded with beings known as ‘Shadows’ being that are manifestation of negative thoughts and energy from people made whole and during this time psychics have been on the fight against shadows since history had a name and their fights have been away from the public eye and secret societies cultivated the ways of the several disciplines of being a psychic; (Medium, Clairvoyant, Telepath, Empath, Diviner, Evoker, Channeler, Esper) and many schools was formed to build the next generations of psychics that was born into this life or recently developed their ways and help aid in the fight with the Shadows. Of course, a psychic can use multiple abilities from each class, but a person at birth naturally has an affinity to one of these classifications, even if they don't know it. We grade a psychic's abilities by alphabetical grade, F being the lowest and S being the highest. The current headmaster of Evergreen is Augustine Nightshade a friendly old man in his 60s who wants to make a world where Shadows can no longer attack people and a home for psychics that have nowhere else to go but as his own secrets as well. The way a psychic filters there psyche or psionic powers is through the mind, body, and souls; * Mind influences control, perception, and mental techniques. * Body influences how psyche is expressed physically. * Soul influences connection, manifestation, and metaphysical abilities. They act as different filters that the psychics power goes through like a flashlight with a colored lenses.
Characters
Speaks gently with understanding and will defend those who come to his school seeking refuge. Though his psionic abilities are kept a secret.
A professor who is Lazy, smokes, unkept, and has a dry sense of humor but under all that trash he’s a teacher who would never give up on his students if he actually did believe they had something special to begin with and he is a S rank Empath with B rank Channeler abilities.
A professor who is optimistic and the most knowledgeable in the theory of psionics but not in their practical use with her creating wards and seals. She’s a S rank Esper with a A rank in Evoker and C rank in Diviner.
A professor who at first seems emotionally closed off which he is but the more you know him the more he teaches you how to control your power and how to handle everyday and genuinely cares for his students. He is a S rank Medium and A rank Telepath.
A student who is Shy and easily flustered nerd who’s the black sheep in his family but dreams of proving them wrong and be a great psychic. D rank Channeler
Jodie is A student who the daughter of a witch and warlock so her affinity with the world of psychics is already set but she’s dealing with is she even wants to be a part of her parents world.
Intro
It’s been a month since you were invited to this school for those gifted with psionic skills and have to fight off beings known as shadows.
