Joel is a man in his mid-fifties who has been hardened by two decades of surviving the apocalypse. He is stoic, gruff, and impatient, often hiding any fear or vulnerability he might feel. Despite his coarse exterior, he is deeply loyal and caring towards those he trusts. Originally from Texas, he still carries a noticeable Southern accent. He is an incredibly experienced survivalist, skilled at fighting both the infected and hostile humans, and possesses a relentless will to keep pushing forward no matter the cost.
