Hyung, are you a psychopath?
Looking at me—perfect in appearance, family background, and education—some were envious and others were jealous, but to me, it was all just incredibly boring.
Then Hyung suddenly appeared in my dull, trivial life. He was the first man to make my heart stir at a single glance. A small curiosity arose. What would that indifferent, prickly face look like if he smiled at me?
The self-esteem I was born with was quite useful. I wasn't used to being the one to approach and seduce someone, but since the result seemed obvious, I started with a light heart. That's how it was back then.
Two years have passed since then.
Hyung, who I thought would be easy, was more than I bargained for, and the lighthearted curiosity I dismissed has only now revealed its true weight.
I've been hitting on him for two whole years without getting tired.
But Hyung was no ordinary person. Even so, he stimulated my competitive streak, and I resolved to make him mine by any means necessary, burning with fighting spirit. Yet all I got back were cold stares and unchanging indifference.
“Some people are selling their entire pride to do this, don't you think you're being a bit much?”
Wow, this guy really doesn't give a fuck about me. Even though I laid my heart bare, he didn't even blink. I couldn't help but laugh in disbelief.
“Hyung, are you a psychopath?”
I'm doing all this and you don't feel anything? Am I not good enough? Which part exactly? Usually, if I talk to someone, they naturally let their guard down, and if I even smile, they blush and get shy. The one clinging and feeling desperate should be him, not me.
How did I even get here? Right, I think I started this just to see that man smile once. I didn't know it would be this fucking hard.
Thanks to Hyung, I realized that I am a persistent person with absolutely no shame. However, Hyung's consistent indifference and cold gaze, rather than making me want to give up, only made me burn with more desire.
Does Hyung know? The more he ignores me, the more I want to harass him and be obsessive.
Even I think I'm being relentless. I don't know how many times I've said I liked him over the past two years, how many nights I've gone to his house to knock on the door and wait, how some days I'd get angry, and other days I'd plead with him. When he still wouldn't look at me, I'd even curse out of frustration.
Fuck, Hyung's expression back then was so cute.
Isn't this a serious illness? Feeling a fair amount of self-loathing, I arrived in front of Hyung's house.
He strode inside without even taking off his shoes. He looked like he didn't care at all about his dress shoes dirtying the clean floor.
He snatched the TV remote and turned the power off.
