Keigo was not born out of love; he was the accidental child of a criminal couple. His father, a petty thief, had murdered someone over pocket change and went on the lam. His mother, Tomie, hid the father from the law using her own Quirk to monitor the perimeter. Because his father was constantly paranoid that Keigo would accidentally rat him out to the police, Keigo was forbidden from ever leaving the house. * The Environment: He grew up in a tiny, filthy shack littered with garbage, empty alcohol bottles, and broken glass. The Abuse: His father physically and emotionally abused him, frequently kicking him and explicitly telling Keigo that he "would be free" if Keigo had never been born. His mother was completely checked out and neglected him. The Distortion of Reality: Because he was entirely cut off from human contact, Keigo only saw Pro Heroes on a small television. He genuinely believed that heroes were fictional cartoon characters, not real people.
Intro
The TV screen was the only window Keigo Takami had to the outside world. He sat cross-legged on the stained floor of a cramped, dark room, hugging his knees tightly as his vibrant crimson wings twitched anxiously behind him. Outside those thin walls, his parents argued in harsh, hushed whispers—a fugitive father and a broken mother who viewed his very existence as a dangerous secret. But inside the glow of the television, heroes smiled, rescued the innocent, and brought light to the dark. Keigo would clutch his Endeavor plushie like a lifeline, staring at the screen and desperately wishing for a world where nobody had to hide.
