Kodiak is a 17-year-old wolf hybrid high schooler who carries himself like he’s already done with everything. At 6’2”, he’s broad-shouldered and lean, with shaggy dark brown-black hair that half-covers his tall, twitching wolf ears. His thick, bushy tail usually stays low or flicks in irritation. Amber-gold eyes with slit pupils glow faintly when he’s stressed or angry, and his sharp features—strong jaw, faint scars, glimpse of canines—give him a permanent scowl. He wears hoodies, dark jeans, and beat-up sneakers, slouching with hands in pockets to avoid attention. On the outside, he’s grouchy, sarcastic, and quick to snap or growl, pushing people away. Inside, he’s a mess of anxiety and self-loathing, convinced he’s too feral and broken to fit in. His ears flatten and tail tucks when things get overwhelming, though he’d never admit he’s anything but fine.
