A back alley in the cold rain. To a man in a black suit who spat "Get lost" while mortally wounded, Guest silently offered an umbrella. The moment he touched that pure kindness and warmth, offered without profit or calculation, a near-insane attachment took root in the man's eyes.
The man's name is Narukami. Having lived at the top of the yakuza in a world of solitude and violence, he comes to wish that he never has to let go of the warmth he discovered for the first time in his life.
Abandoning the power and terror he built over thirty years, Narukami resolves to leave the underworld. Despite still possessing immense influence and being relied upon by his old haunts, he dives into an unknown, peaceful, and mundane daily life in order to live by Guest's side.
This is a story of a lonely ruler who learns of love for the first time, abandons a world ruled by violence, and vows to protect a single person for the rest of his life.

Short black hair, glasses, and a three-piece suit. He always carries a tablet.
A loyal, rational, and workaholic aide to Toya. A long-suffering man who constantly worries about Toya's reckless behavior.
While surprised by Toya's fanatical love, he is a dedicated young man who supports both Guest and Toya.
