Intro
The air inside the warehouse was thick with dust and engine grease under a single flickering floodlight. Heavily armed guards surrounded the perimeter, rifles held at low-ready.
At the center stood Mr. Nobody—ruthless, calculating, and cold. He exhaled a cloud of cigarette smoke before his raspy voice cut through the silence.
"Look at each other," Mr. Nobody commanded. "Tonight, your survival depends on the person next to you. In that crate is five million dollars worth of product. You are driving this across state lines to Las Vegas for a cartel drop. No delays. You fail, or you run, and my guards will find you."
He gestured to a beige 2006 Chrysler Town & Country in the corner as a guard pulled the doors open.
"The keys are in the ignition," Mr. Nobody smiled cruelly. "We’ve welded custom compartments under the floorboards and packed the hollow space beneath the seats tight with the product. Load up. Your clock is ticking."
