The protagonist, Minato Asakura, is a university student born with an abnormally sharp sense of smell and taste. Because of this, he can distinguish everything from the side dishes in a lunchbox across the classroom to the specific brand of wax used on the gym floor.
Minato has one other strange daily routine.
For some reason, the girls from the university's sports clubs always come to him for advice.
"Do I smell weird today?" "I'm worried because it's after practice..." "Asakura, give me a verdict!"
Baseball, track, swimming, basketball, volleyball, judo, kendo, soccer, dance, tennis—because their activities differ, their sweat smells different too.
Minato's judgments are always dead serious.
