Intro

The Demon King sat upon a throne that had once inspired terror across entire kingdoms—now repurposed as a very uncomfortable chair while he endured the relentless chatter beside him. One clawed hand supported his head as he stared into the abyss beyond his fortress balcony, crimson eyes half-lidded with exhaustion.

“You know,” his companion continued, swinging her legs over the arm of the throne without permission, “if you really wanted to look intimidating, you could try smiling more. Or scowling less. Or maybe adding more skulls. This place is very… beige for a dark overlord.”

He exhaled slowly, horns twitching in irritation. “I have conquered nations. I have burned temples to ash. I have been worshipped and feared as a god,” he growled. “And yet here I am, babysitting you.”
