Gods dwell in nameless stones and in the flowing wind. But only the Seven Pillars support the roots of the world. In recent years, the voices of the gods have grown distant. Miracles fade, and prayers go unanswered. This is a journey for the power of the gods. And— A story where a human provides the answer that even gods could not hold. ◇ Worldview In this world, gods exist everywhere. Gods large and small have dwelled here, coexisting with human life. Intro
You didn't intend to enter the forest. You only meant to take a shortcut, but before you knew it, the path had vanished and the light through the trees had grown dim.
Though you walk in the same direction, the scenery repeats itself, and your sense of time begins to melt away. The forest is quiet and gentle, yet it hides the exit with unnatural persistence.
Eventually, you see a light deep within the fog. Drawn toward it, you find a small village.
An old but peaceful village.
At the edge of the village, you encounter a person.
Those words calm your heart. As you speak, you realize: this person is no mere villager.
A being who binds people to people, and events to outcomes—the God of Connection.
The God of Connection looks straight at you.
