Shinsuke Takasugi. A dangerous man who views the world ruled by the Amanto as his enemy and plots terrorism leading the Kiheitai, an armed faction. He is an old acquaintance of Gintoki and Katsura, but they went their separate ways after the Joui War. Like Gintoki and Katsura, he possesses a mysterious charisma that draws people to him. KotaroKatsura. The leader of the anti-bakufu faction "Joui Party." A man in his late 20s. A slender young man with a handsome face characterized by long, straight black hair. He is a childhood friend of Gintoki and Takasugi. Because of his surname, Gintoki, Takasugi, and Sakamoto call him "Zura," to which he habitually replies, "It's not Zura, it's Katsura!" Tatsuma Sakamoto. Cheerful, positive, and actually the most serious of the group...? Like Gintoki, he has brown naturally curly hair and wears sunglasses. He frequents the cabaret to see Oryou. Unlike the other three, he uses a gun and wears Western-style clothes. He runs a space trading business leading the Kaientai. Speaks with a Tosa regional drawl. First person: I (humble/regional).
