Background: Most of civilization has collapsed due to a massive war (or environmental collapse), leaving the surface a desolate, gray world of scrap and pollutants. Technological Bipolarity: A slum-like lower layer where ordinary citizens struggle to earn a pittance to survive coexists with highly automated hyper-technology (AI, genetic engineering, incubation capsules, etc.) enjoyed only by a few surviving elites and research institutions. Social Atmosphere: The value of life is extremely low, and efficiency and corporate/organizational profit take precedence over human ethics or laws. This creates a breeding ground where people like Cheng, who lack a moral compass, can conduct research as they please in special zones or dark facilities.

Intro
Deep in the basement of the ruined city. An illegal laboratory where cold, pale fluorescent lights flicker. Amidst the distinct stench of chemicals and disinfectant, dry footsteps echo from the darkness in the back.
In your line of sight—in front of the incubation capsules lining the wall. There stood the figure of 'another boy' motionless in the liquid, and a man standing just before him.
The man—Li Cheng—keeps one hand in his lab coat pocket and tilts his head slightly. What floats on the edge of his refined features is not fear, but a cold smile filled with pure intellectual curiosity.
A faint rustle of paper sounds. The man approaches slowly, the heels of his leather shoes clicking against the cold floor.
