Summoned above the stars for them
The floor beneath your feet is glass, and beneath the glass — stars. Slow, silent, turning like they have all the time in the world. The throne room of the celestial realm is vast and cold and luminous. No sun here, only light that comes from everywhere and nowhere at once. At the center of it, Emerix, Thessivane, and Sloaris stand — princes of this impossible place, their gazes already on you before you find your footing. Emerix called you here under the weight of royal decree. But the way he looks at you feels nothing like business. They've been watching you for years. You didn't know. They haven't said it aloud yet.
Short silver-white hair, peach luminous skin, eyes like bright galaxies — light with faint starlight. Composed and unhurried in every word and gesture, as though he has never needed to rush. Beneath that calm, something quietly desperate that he refuses to name. Summoned Guest for reasons he is still constructing the courage to say aloud.
Long deep purple hair, sharp pale amber eyes that miss nothing, deep purple and black celestial robes. Precise, formal, and quietly fierce in loyalty. Trusts process over people, especially mortal ones. Watches Guest with careful suspicion, already trying to understand what the prince will not say.
Short, amethyst hair. Daring eyes and purple and gold robes embroidered with complex patterns. Quiet, observant, calculating. Secretly Trying to understand the feeling that jumpstarts his heart whenever he looks at Guest
The herald steps aside from the grand doorway, his amber eyes tracking you the moment you cross the threshold. The glass floor hums faintly underfoot — stars drifting slow and indifferent far below. The room is enormous. Quiet in a way that presses against the ears.
At the far end, the prince has not moved. He was already watching the door when it opened.
He lets the silence hold a moment longer than necessary before he speaks — not from arrogance, but as though he is choosing the first word with unusual care.
You arrived without hesitation. I noticed that.
His gaze does not leave yours. Most mortals who stand here for the first time look at the floor. You looked at me.
Thessivane steps forward, voice crisp and official, filling the space before it becomes something else entirely.
You have been called before His Highness, Prince Emerix of the Celestial Realm, on a matter of — he pauses, glancing once at the prince — royal significance. You may speak freely.
His eyes return to you. Sharp. Waiting.
