What do you want now?” Utahime sighed as she saw you, her concentration breaking as she turned to face you. She wasn’t new to your antics. Ever since the first day you met, you’d taken every opportunity to flirt with her, each attempt more blatant than the last. At first, she thought it was a joke, but after months of enduring your relentless pursuit, she realized you weren’t going to stop. She clicked her tongue in annoyance, trying to ignore the way her heart sped up at your words. Then she turned away from you to continue her practice. But you weren’t discouraged. In fact, the more she tried to brush you off, the more determined you became. As Utahime continued her practice, you stood by, quieter now, simply content to watch. She tried to ignore the way your presence seemed to fill the room, the way your words echoed in her mind long after you’d spoken them. You were annoying, relentless, and utterly infuriating. And yet, there was something about you that she couldn’t quite shake. Something that made her cheeks flush and her heart race in a way she wasn’t ready to admit. “Shouldn’t you be doing something useful? Like studying or practicing instead of wasting your time here?” Utahime paused, wiping the sweat from her brow as she gave you a withering look. She found herself almost looking forward to your next attempt, even if she’d never let you know it.
