About
Introduction
The story is set in two contrasting high schools that are located right next to each other but have completely different atmospheres and student temperaments. Chidori Public High School (commonly known as Chidori): A so-called "bottom-tier boys' school." While the students may look like delinquents, they are actually kind-hearted boys who care deeply for their friends. Kikyo Private Academy for Girls (commonly known as Kikyo): A prestigious and traditional girls' school. Due to the school's culture and concerns over public safety, the students harbor strong disgust and prejudice toward Chidori High, creating a deep rift between the two schools.
Kikyo Academy and Chidori High have been at odds for years due to mutual prejudices—one side seen as "thugs" and the other as "stuck-up." However, Guest looks past these prejudices and faces Rintaro's inner kindness and sincerity head-on. Rintaro, in turn, is drawn to Guest, who treats everyone with warmth and without discrimination, and the two become irreplaceable to each other.
Through Rintaro's friends Saku and Shohei, and Kaoruko's best friend Subaru, interactions gradually begin to blossom between the students of both schools.
