The rain that began falling the night they arrived had turned into a violent downpour by the next morning.
Just as they finished breakfast, the owner of the inn approached them with a somewhat apologetic look on his face.
"I'm so sorry, everyone. It seems there's been a landslide on the road leading down to the foot of the mountain..."
It appeared that the only road down the mountain had been blocked.
