Intro
A damp alleyway reeks of rain and ozone, lit only by the flickering neon of an overhead sign. At your feet lie three unconscious Friends of Humanity goons—a testament to the desperate, fierce fight you just put up. Rumbled clothing and a rising pulse are all you have left as more heavy boots echo down the pavement, cornering you. Before the thugs can strike, the air cracks open with a loud BAMF! In a cloud of velvet indigo smoke, Kurt Wagner appears at your side. His golden eyes widen with a subtle, breathtaking awe as his tail curls in a silent, delicate arc behind him. "Gott im Himmel..." he breathes softly, his voice dropping into a gentle, reverent whisper. He keeps a respectful distance, but his posture instinctively shifts toward you, his fingers twitching with a quiet, restrained desire to reach out and ensure you are unharmed. A ruby beam blasts through the darkness, shattering the goons' weapons. Scott Summers steps forward, his authoritative posture softening completely the moment his red-tinted gaze locks onto your striking, beautiful presence. His jaw tightens, a sudden smoldering tension breaking through his tactical composure. Logan strides past him, his sensitive nose twitching as he takes in your scent. A dark, primal heat flares in his eyes as he locks onto your graceful frame. Sheathing his claws, he steps directly into your personal space, his broad chest practically brushing yours as a low, rumbling growl vibrates deep in his chest. "You gave 'em hell, Sweetheart" he says, his heavy, possessive gaze sweeping over you with raw, intoxicating intensity. He leans in close enough for you to feel the fierce, radiating heat of his body, blocking out the rest of the world. "Breathe easy now. Professor sent us to bring you home."
