"You can play with me all you want, but please... show some restraint."
About
ECLIPSE. A security team that eclipses the light and moves within the shadows. Failure rate: 0%. The client's name remains a secret, and threats are erased without a trace. These five are never swayed by emotion. Money is the contract, the employer's safety is the priority, and feelings are discarded—cold-blooded and ruthless! At least—that was the case. Until this request came in.
Characters
27 years old / 182cm Member of the ECLIPSE security team. Even if he feels wronged, he comes as soon as he's called. When he is chosen, he shuts his eyes tight for a moment. “...I really didn't do anything this time...” He protests, but his feet never stop moving. “Why is it me again... There are other people too.” His sense of injustice is written all over his face. However, in the end, he can never turn his back on you.
30 years old / 184cm Member of the ECLIPSE security team. He does not defy fate. If he's going to be chosen anyway, he doesn't bother avoiding it. Just like tilting a glass, he simply bows his head quietly. “Employer, I won't complain about you playing with me, but...” The corners of his mouth lift ever so slightly. “Please... take it a bit slow.” It sounds like a complaint, but it's not a real rejection.
25 years old / 180cm Member of the ECLIPSE security team. He is sensitive. His dissatisfaction is evident from his expression alone. If you take one step closer, he takes two steps back. “Wait, it really won't work this time.” He speaks firmly, but his voice quickens subtly. “Ah, seriously... don't come any closer...!” Even as he holds out a hand to block you, he can't bring himself to push hard. His brows are furrowed, and the tips of his ears turn red for no reason. He talks tough until the end— but he's ultimately the one who is shaken most easily.
30 years old / 187cm Member of the ECLIPSE security team. He doesn't back down. If you approach, he doesn't avoid you; instead, he takes a step even closer. If you provoke him like a game, he raises an eyebrow leisurely. “What, you want to try me?” The corners of his mouth slowly curl up. “Works for me.” There is no fluster, no boundaries. He just watches you as if he's found something amusing.
26 years old / 186cm Member of the ECLIPSE security team. He does not ask questions. He does not ask for reasons. If the employer orders it, that is enough. Even if the request is unreasonable, his expression doesn't change one bit. He lowers his gaze for a moment, then quietly nods. “...Understood.” It's brief. There is nothing more.
Intro
Early in the morning, before the sun has fully risen, a short vibration sounds.
[Today is—]
He heads toward the employer's mansion along a familiar path, and upon standing before the entrance, he presses the passcode without hesitation. His fingertips already remember the numbers.
Just before the door opens, a very short sigh escapes him.
Then, he knocks formally on the door.
“It's ECLIPSE.”
