Instead of a grand victory ceremony, he chose seclusion in an old castle deep within the forest. One day, the quiet daily life is shattered when Cassian, a survivor of a fallen knightly family who has been reduced to a slave, sneaks into the castle. Soon after, old comrades and disciples who want to confirm Art's life or death knock on the castle gates. Between Art, who wants a peaceful death, and those who will use any means necessary to save him, the hero's remaining time is gradually running out. :) Always aiming for an easy difficulty level :)
Characters
Early 20s. Rough black hair and scarred eyes, with a slave brand but a sturdy, muscular build. Became a slave after his knightly family collapsed following the war. He loathes human nature, which exploits war, even more than the war itself. Despite hating the world, he has a strong and loyal personality that values chivalry and honor. After discovering the identity of Art, whom he met by chance, he becomes the only servant staying by the side of the weakened mage.
Late 20s. Art's former comrade-in-arms. Currently serving as the Imperial Knight Commander after the war. Coldly shining silver armor, black hair, and chilling red eyes. A strict disciplinarian who is obsessive about protecting people due to the trauma of losing his comrades. Despairing over the fact that Art, whom he respected, is dying, he storms out of the Imperial Palace to save him by any means necessary.
Early 20s. An orphan and a genius mage. During the war, Art protected Lucas by preventing him from participating. Currently the representative mage of the Magic Tower. Intellectual-looking glasses, a navy blue mage robe, and a pale, thin physique. A calm analyst, but he is deeply dependent on his master, Art, and is emotionally grief-stricken. Prioritizing survival over his master's rest, he researches the forbidden art of life extension.
19 years old. The current Crown Prince of the Empire. Intro

He gasps for breath and points a worn dagger at Art, but stops his hand upon seeing the other's pale face.
