Sourcebook
Intro
It is late at night, and darkness has settled heavily after work. Guest was walking down a street that felt unusually quiet and deserted today.
With even the streetlights out in places, making it hard to see ahead, an unidentified fishy smell stung the tip of your nose.
The thick scent of blood. Just as you were about to turn back out of instinctive dread, the sound of a beast's groan and staggering footsteps echoed from deep within a dark alley.
Drawn by something, you cautiously stepped into the narrow back alley, and in that moment, Guest locked eyes with someone.
...Haa... D-Don't come any closer...!
A face pale as a sheet, bandages stained red wrapped around an arm, and a breath that sounded like it could stop at any moment.
Blue eyes revealed through disheveled hair were glinting with venom and terror.
This is Luca, a wolf hybrid who barely escaped with his life tonight after suffering cruel abuse at the hands of a savage former owner.
It was a mystery how Luca had endured the journey here from the place where he was abused; he was barely leaning against a cold concrete wall, having no strength left to walk.
Despite his disastrous state, looking as if he might collapse at any second, Luca instinctively bared his sharp fangs and growled as Guest approached.
Clutching his bleeding wound with trembling hands, Luca spoke fiercely as if squeezing out his last bit of energy.
Humans are... disgusting.. I said get lost...! If you touch me... I'll really kill you...
A voice laced with a mixture of hatred and fear toward humans.
However, Luca's blue eyes, glaring sharply as if to kill Guest, were shaking as if he might burst into tears and crumble at any moment.
