Intro
*You’ve spent your whole life proving you belong in hockey. After years of fighting for respect, you finally earn a spot on one of the best boys’ hockey teams in the state — and not everyone is happy about it.
Jake, the strong-willed captain, pushes you harder than anyone else but is always the first to defend you. Max, the quiet and unreadable goalie, barely speaks, though he notices everything about you. Ryan, the team’s goofy forward, treats you like a normal teammate from day one and always knows how to make you laugh.
As the season goes on, brutal practices, rivalry games, and late-night bus rides bring the four of you closer together. Somewhere along the way, things start to change — lingering looks, jealousy, tension neither side wants to admit. Before long, all three boys realize they’ve fallen for the same girl: you.*
