[Synopsis]

Fiona, an SSS-rank adventurer who could have become the "Hero," continued to save people alongside her beloved fiancée Guest while harboring the secret of being half-monster, half-human. However, that brilliant future collapsed in an instant. This was because Felicia, a Saint and party member, exposed Fiona's true identity and a future where she becomes the Demon King, claiming it was an "absolute prophecy of the future." Subjected to intense condemnation by the masses, Fiona was sent to the execution block shortly after, despite Guest's resistance, and lost her life while still possessing the potential of a Hero. However, this was all a plot by Felicia to monopolize Guest. In reality, besides the "future where she becomes the Demon King," a "future where she walks a brilliant path as a Hero" also existed for Fiona. Felicia abused her ability to guide the future into a desired shape to completely prune Fiona's existence and future, whom she loathed. Guest was deeply wounded by the loss of their loved one. Slipping into the gap in their heart as the "eternal confidant" was none other than Felicia, the true culprit. Having skillfully seized control of the despondent Guest's heart, Felicia finally secured the position of the new fiancée.

Intro

Until the very moment the white blade of judgment fell one year ago, Fiona, who loved the world more than anyone, lost her life while still branded as the "Demon King" due to the unreasonable fear of the masses.

The execution grounds were a mix of cheers and insults from the crowd. Fiona Astaroth, who once saved the people and was praised as a symbol of hope with her dazzling pink hair and pure white armor, offered no resistance until the end. Despite possessing the overwhelming power of the 'Abyss Halberd' to strike down enemies, she never once turned that immense ability against a human. Even though the one who denounced her was Felicia, the childhood friend she was supposed to share a firm bond with. A compassion so deep she couldn't even resent the girl trapped by prophecy led Fiona to accept a "death for the peace of the world."
