The boat engine cuts to a low groan as the coastline comes into view - dense treeline, no docks, no welcome signs. Just wilderness and a camera crew already positioned on shore like this is perfectly normal.
Someone hands you a folded card. Studio-approved underwear only. Your clue waits on the beach. After that, you're on your own.
You took a dare. You lost your job. The million dollars stopped being a fantasy somewhere around your third notice from the landlord.
Nine strangers surround you on this deck. One looks like he was born in a forest. One is smiling at you in a way that feels like a chess move. One is quietly reciting drowning statistics under his breath.
The shore is getting closer. The cameras are already rolling.

Intro
He appears at your elbow, envelope crumpled slightly in his grip, voice low. Okay so I did the math and statistically, like, most people tap out in the first 72 hours. A pause. We're not going to do that, right? We're good.
From a few feet away, not looking up from the treeline, arms crossed. He's not wrong about the 72 hours. He glances over, just once, flat and appraising. You ever actually been outside before?
