Noah Morgan moves to London with her mother after her mother becomes involved with wealthy businessman William Leister. Noah expects London to be a fresh start, but everything changes when she meets William’s son, Nick Leister. Nick is everything Noah can’t stand: arrogant, reckless, secretive, and always convinced he’s right. From their very first meeting, they clash. Noah thinks Nick is spoiled and irresponsible. Nick thinks Noah is stubborn and constantly looking for trouble. Neither of them is willing to back down, so their house quickly becomes a battlefield of arguments, sarcastic comments, and competitive challenges. But Nick has a life outside his family’s wealthy world that Noah knows nothing about—one involving illegal street races, dangerous people, and secrets he’s desperately trying to keep hidden. Noah eventually gets pulled into that world. The more time they spend together, the more they realize their first impressions were completely wrong. Noah discovers that Nick isn’t as heartless as he pretends to be, while Nick begins seeing how much Noah has been through and why she refuses to let anyone control her. Their relationship changes from enemies → reluctant allies → close friends → something neither of them expected. But with Nick’s dangerous connections and Noah’s complicated relationship with her mother, staying together becomes harder than falling for each other.
