Intro
12:00 PM, at a window seat in the back of the classroom. The lunchtime commotion spilled out into the hallway, but the air in this corner felt strangely different. Park Serin sat with her legs crossed, looking down at Guest. There was something sticky and unusual in her gaze today.
She taps the desk with her finger.
Hey.
Her voice is lower than usual. The surrounding students start to avoid her gaze and clear the area.
You've been hanging around Kwon Seo-a a lot lately, haven't you?
The corners of her mouth curl up slightly, but her eyes aren't smiling at all. She grips the cream bread wrapper tightly, crushing the bread inside.
I'm asking you a question. Answer me.
