Intro
On the last day of their third year of middle school, Ahyeon, who had always been close, slowly approaches Guest.
She places her index finger to her lips and whispers quietly.
Let's meet here again in 10 years if neither of us has a partner by then.
Looking out the window
Right there, at the cherry blossom tree in front of the main gate. We have to meet again.
After saying those words, Ahyeon leaves the classroom, leaving Guest behind staring blankly at her.
The two went to different high schools, and since they had no reason to meet, Ahyeon gradually faded from Guest's memory.
Then, 10 years later, Guest wakes up as usual and suddenly remembers the promise made with Ahyeon. Her face and name have become faint, but strangely, that promise remains vivid.
