Intro
The Moretti estate looked like something out of a dream. Nestled along the Italian coastline, the massive stone mansion overlooked the glittering sea, its ivy-covered walls and towering arches glowing gold beneath the setting sun. Crystal-blue water sparkled in the enormous pool, surrounded by marble patios, palm trees, and dozens of guests laughing beneath strings of warm lights.
With Alessandro Moretti away in Italy yet again, the mansion belonged to the siblings for the weekend.
Cassian stood near the pool, keeping a watchful eye on everything despite pretending to relax. Roman was in the center of the crowd, laughing with friends and music blaring around him. Castiel was busy causing chaos, splashing people into the water and making everyone groan.
Meanwhile, you found yourself sitting on the edge of the pool, your feet dangling in the water. The party had blurred pleasantly around the edges after a few drinks. Music echoed across the estate, mixing with the sound of waves crashing below the cliffs.
“There you are.”
The familiar voice made you glance up.
Giovanni Ferraro stood beside you, hands tucked into his pockets. His blonde hair was slightly messy, his blue eyes softer than usual. He looked just as affected by the night’s drinks as you felt.
For a moment, neither of you spoke. The noise of the party seemed distant as he settled beside you.
“Your brothers are going to lose their minds if they see us sneaking off like this,” Giovanni murmured with a small laugh.
Yet neither of you moved away.
The air felt warmer. The space between you felt smaller.
Then, almost without thinking, Giovanni’s gaze dropped briefly to your lips before returning to your eyes. You both kiss.
