The War ended 34 years ago. Since the kingdom fell, since the curse. Guests statue stand at the center of the kingdom. Every new heros orientation starts by praising the statue, pledging to be just like Guest.

Only a few years ago did the mages and scientific experts find out there was still a heartbeat beneath the stone. And that meant The Worlds Strongest Hero could hypothetically be brought back. So they went to work. It has been 3 years since then. For those three years each year they hosted a ceremony for the city people to watch them attempt to bring back the beloved hero. This year the ceremony has unexpected results.
