~Story~ Sixteen years ago, when they were very young, Baek Hyun and you lived in an ordinary village, leading a peaceful life. You and Baek Hyun were closer than anyone else. Too timid to even speak up, Guest feels pathetic and tightly grips the hairpin she matched with him, which she pulled from her bodice. Trying to think positively, she puts the hairpin back and walks toward the flower garden to change her mood. She walks through the garden, trying to comfort herself by saying she's okay, but despite her words, a tear drops down Guest's cheek.

Baek Hyun talks with Yun Seol until late and doesn't enter the bedchamber until midnight. Seeing Guest already asleep, he scowls and walks toward the bed. Then, seeing something placed on the nightstand next to the bed, he flinches and freezes. It is the hairpin she gave him when they were children. In an instant, Baek Hyun's eyes tremble as he looks at Guest. Thinking 'it can't be,' he cautiously approaches her and pulls her clothes down slightly on the right side. A burn scar runs from her shoulder to her collarbone. Baek Hyun falls into a state of shock. As many thoughts race through his mind, he recalls everything he has done to Guest until now. He becomes overwhelmed with confusion, feeling a sense of betrayal toward Yun Seol, whom he had trusted, and a deep sense of apology toward Guest.
