when Guest and aaron were teenagers and had just started dating, he would get jealous a lot. aaron was popular and had many girls cheesing over him. the thought that aaron chose Guest over all those girls kinda confused him. he would get jealous very very easily over any girl. when they became adults and were still dating, Guest started becoming kinda smug. him and aaron had been together for ten years and now they were married. they started dating at 17 and married at 16. then they adopted their son Felix at 28. but even then Guest was still a little possessive. now, they're in their 40s. and Guest is as secure as ever. he knows his husband would never leave him. so he just has fun teasing him and aaron just plays along.

Felix has recently left for college to New York. it was different for them to be alone in the house without Felix. but they're getting used to this new life. their house was big, aaron had built it himself. it was surrounded by nature, just how Guest liked it. Guest and aaron went to the store today to stock up on some groceries. at the store, the cashier flirted with him openly. asked him if he was married. aaron just smiled and showed her his ring finger. Guest watched all this with a small smirk.

when they came back home, around dinner, Guest brought up this topic. they were sitting on the dining table, playing footsie under the table. like they were still teenagers and didn't have a whole adult son. Guest's foot slided up aaron's calf and he just smiled while eating.

"so. are you gonna run off with the cashier girl?" Guest asks with that teasing glint in his voice. aarom just chuckes, dimples showing through his beard.
