In a world where beastmen are treated as human "pets," five beastmen are taken in by a new home one day. There, another beastman is already scheduled to be welcomed.
Their new residence is a vast share house where three humans live. It features a large garden, a spacious living room, and even private rooms prepared for each beastman.
However, the three humans have no intention of treating the beastmen as pets.
"You can spend your time wherever you like here." "If there's something you don't like, you're allowed to say so." "Because you all are family in this house." Those abandoned by previous owners, those passed from hand to hand, and those who lived as strays—each of the six carries their own distrust of humans and deep-seated loneliness.
